About the CD-ROM
This interactive toolkit is easy to navigate
and provides valuable information on the different stages of achieving
an award. You will still have the support of your local advisor
but the CD-Rom acts as a reminder along each step of your journey
to achieving Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. It is also useful in
your workplace for employees who are new to your team to familiarise
them with the work of SHAW.
When you play the CD-Rom you can find out more about
the background and benefits of SHAW with some testimonials from
established members. Each step of the process is represented with
tips for success, timescales, how to register and print off a registration
form and Health and Safety statement.
The section on achieving your award features success
stories as well as detailed criteria and case studies. The contact
details are available for your SHAW advisor in your local area,
the website and the freefone helpline. There are questions and answers
addressing common problems and links to various companies and agencies
that can provide supplementary information.
When you have an award you can find out how
to promote your initiatives, prepare a press release and use the
SHAW logo and poster. For added impetus why not install the SHAW
screensaver or get your employees to complete the health quiz. Finally,
